TO THE READER
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hands. Starting with our family VHS camcorder and my vertiginous videos of our childhood home, photography has been my companion. From disposable cameras to my recent love for vintage Nikon, I’ve grown into a practice focused on family and the lived experience of a place.
This site is a product of the past few years; graduating college into an uncertain time, I’ve lived through passion, loss, and change in ways I never could’ve anticipated. This period has also been characterized by growth. I’ve had the opportunity to encounter myself, determine who I wish to be in the world, and identify the kind of community I want to create with my work: one distinguished by love, understanding, and presence with others in the landscape.
At a minimum, this site will serve as a catalogue of influences, themes, and products central to my photographic practice; it’s my sincere hope that it can be something more: a palimpsest of my artistic growth, a platform for my evolving devotions, and a springboard for relationships built on shared creative experience.
